In addition to learning the magic of the felting process, participants will be able to play with their design, using wool, silk and bamboo fibers and collaging silk bits & yarn bits.

This is a perfect workshop for those who love the tactile.    

Be prepared to get your hands soapy wet! ;)

In this introductory class, participants will familiarize themselves with the materials, vocabulary and key concepts of this ancient, tactile, time-based process.  

We will see and feel the magic of how the loose fibers gradually turn into one piece of felt!!   

We will make 3 types of felted flowers that could be made into brooches or clipped onto a bag for an accent!
