Knitting: Sweater Pattern Alterations

One
of the best reasons to make your own clothes is that you don't have to
settle for ready-to-wear sizing and can customize a garment as you
desire. In this class we will discuss techniques to adjust existing
sweater patterns in order to improve fit based on your own measurements
and gauge. Bring a sweater pattern you want to knit, yarn and needles
as directed in the pattern, and a measuring tape if you have one. If
you can't decide on a specific pattern or yarn to use, I can help you
pick during the class. We wont be able to knit the sweater during one
afternoon session, but will knit gauge swatches and mark up your pattern
to achieve your customizations.

* Sweater
* pattern of your choice and supplies per pattern
* measuring tape
