In this class we'll explore how to mend using basic embroidery stitches. Inspired by Japanese Sashiko, we'll explore how to use the running stitch to give strength and new life to your well-worn favorite garments. Learn this technique and never give up a paired of loved jeans again!
   
Supplies needed:
  • something to mend
  • emroidery thread (Valdani Pearl Cotton size 12 recommended)
  • small pieces of fabric
  • needle
  • sashiko or thumb thimble (optional)
  • scissors
