December is almost here and we couldn't be more excited!  The shop is full of the most beautiful yarns including a new shipment of Shibui Alpaca and Cima, and Malabrigo Worsted.  We have lovely new fabrics including wovens from Diamond textiles and some fun novelty prints perfect for cozy holiday pajama pants.   We are loving all the preparations of handmade holiday gifts. There are just so many fun projects to be made.  Be sure to check out our upcoming classes including the knit Winter Hedgehog class.  It would make the perfect gift for a favorite little one on your holiday list.  Spruce up your holiday decor by making new placemats or Christmas stockings. Be sure not to miss our holiday craft fair, Craft and Fancy on Saturday, December 6th from 10-5.  You will surely find the perfect handmade gifts.   We are wishing you a warm, cozy and creative holiday season!    December Classes Classes are small and can fill up fast.  We ask that you pay upon registration to reserve your spot.  Call us at (319) 337 - 4775 and pay by credit card or stop in to register.   Participants receive a 15% discount on supplies purchased for class. *Please bring a basic sewing kit to sewing classes that includes pins, marking pen and scissors.  If you don't have these supplies we are happy to help you find them at Home Ec. Cancellation Policy:  If you register for a class and can't come, you must call us 48 hours in advance in order to get a refund; otherwise we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges.  We do not offer make up dates/times/classes if you are unable to come to a class you have signed up for.   Students must be 16 years or older to register for classes unless otherwise stated in the class description or special permission is given by the instructor.
