Embroidered Journals/Sketchbooks

Join us for a two session bookmaking and embroidery workshop. We'll combine them both to create unique embroidered hardcover journals and sketchbooks. Using a basic bookbinding technique, we'll create the body of the book and cover our books with unique cloth covers. Bring in a design that you'd like to embroider, use one of the designs that will be provided, or we can work together to come up with the perfect embellishment for your cover during the class. We'll discuss several different options for the embroidery, and for the most part use just a basic backstitch or straight stitch to create our designs. You'll leave with an awesome journal or sketchbook, perfect for all your adventures!
