Fun with Felt camp

 

FUN WITH FELT CAMP

Tuesday-Thursday, July 1-3, 9 - 12

Ages 8 and up 

  

The possibilities with felt are nearly endless, but this camp will try and hit on all of the different things that felt can do! Campers will make their own felt from wool roving. Each student will also learn basic hand sewing techniques through several felt projects (amazingly cute felt birds, sewing kits, felt food, etc.) Kids will leave camp with amazing felt projects and inspiration for future felt endeavors!

At Home Ec we're crazy about Japanese fabrics, especially the ones from Nani Iro! They're both fun and beautiful at the same time.  Not to mention, the double gauze texture is so soft and dreamy.  Check out these cute creations on the Nani Iro website, where you can click on the designs for diagrams on how to draft the patterns yourself.  So inspiring.  We still have some of these fabrics in stock, but they always sell out so fast.  Come by the store to check them out in person or buy them from our online shop.
