Knitting: Sweater Pattern Alterations

One of the best reasons to make your own clothes is that you
don't have to settle for ready-to-wear sizing and can customize a
garment as you desire. In this class we will discuss techniques to
adjust existing sweater patterns in order to improve fit based on your
own measurements and gauge.
Bring a sweater pattern you want to knit, yarn and needles as
directed in the pattern, and a measuring tape if you have one. If you
can't decide on a specific pattern or yarn to use, I can help you pick
during the class. We wont be able to knit a sweater in one afternoon
session, but you will knit gauge swatches and mark up your pattern to
achieve your customizations.
