Do
you love looking through stranded colorwork stitch patterns? Maybe you
have a long list of favorites on Ravelry or a Pinterest folder full of
inspiring images? Mittens are a great way to incorporate these patterns
into your knitting. Learn how to design a mitten pattern from scratch or
customize existing designs. Pick the cuff, thumb style and layout the
colorwork exactly how you would like in this "choose your own adventure"
mittens class.
Some
experience with stranded colorwork is helpful but any intermediate
knitter can make these mittens. Supplies needed to design the mittens
will be provided.
Supplies needed:
·
200 yards worsted weight yarn total, divided between at least 2 colors.
You can wait to purchase your yarn until after the first class session.
· US #4 needles- for whichever style of knitting in the round you prefer (i.e. dpns, 1 or 2 circular needles ~24-32" long)
· Tapestry needle, scissors
(Three session class)
