Let's make a hat! You know how to knit, now you're looking to make your first wearable project? Use your skills to knit and learn how to purl in the round to create a simple, elegant hat designed impeccably by Tincan Knits. We will expand on your knitting abilities by teaching you the rib stitch, decreasing, and knitting in the round. The pattern is free on Ravelry.com.Supplies needed:
- US 8, 16" circular needles
- US 8 double pointed needles (dpn)
- ***OPTIONAL: US 6, 16" circular needles for a more snug fit along the ribbed edge
- 200 yards worsted weight yarn, light, color suggested
- Scissors, place markers, & tapestry needle
