Winter has passed but that doesn't mean you need to put away
all of your scarves. Using linen or cotton yarn and a lace pattern, you
can create a scarf that is light and airy enough that you can wear it
any summer day.
Supplies needed:
· Painted Lace Scarf pattern available for free onRavelry.
· 200-400 yards sport-weight yarn. A linen or cotton yarn
will be best for a summer-weight scarf, but any fiber can be used. (Get
more yarn for a longer scarf, less for a shorter one. This pattern can
also be made with DK or Worsted yarn, just use needles 1 to 2 sizes
larger.)
· US size #9 needles
· Tapestry needle
