Socks
are the best! To take this class you should have some experience with
knit and kind of know how to purl. Bring size 5 double-point needles,
approximately 150-200 yards of worsted weight yarn, a counter, a locking
stitch marker or safety pin and a darning needle to weave in ends.
We'll make socks for the average size adult. We'll also discuss how to
fend off those "hey, can you make a pair of those for me" queries.
Supplies needed:
-
200 yards worsted weight yarn; wool or washable wool in a light color preferred. Bring two colors if you'd like to replicate the socks in the picture.
-
US size 4 or 5 dpns
