Coaster Sets

These cute little coaster sets are the perfect last-minute
gift. With 5-inch squares of fabric and batting and a little stitching,
you'll have a set put together in no time. A good project for the
advanced beginner or seasoned sewist, they're also the perfect project
for mixing and matching complementary charm squares-we've got lots of
V&Co's Simply Color II packs in the shop. You'll also have the
option of making a fabric "basket" to store them (basket not pictured).
Supplies needed:
- Fabric for twelve 5-inch squares of fabric-a fat quarter or 1/4 yd. will make all six coasters, but you may want to use more than one complementary fabric for coasters you can mix and match.
- Low-loft batting or fusible fleece for six 4.5-inch squares-(1/4 yd. for coasters alone or 1/2 yd. for coasters and basket)
- 10" square fabric (for storage basket)
