Learn the basics of stranded knitting with this comfy cowl.
It's extra warm and cozy because the stranding creates a thicker fabric-perfect for this cold Iowa winter! Karen will teach you different techniques for holding your yarn and give you tips on how to secure your floats. Created with two colors of worsted weight yarn, this striking cowl works up quickly!
Supplies Needed: Lodgepole Cowl Pattern by Sara Gresbach (available here via Ravelry); worsted weight yarn (200 yards for background color; 90 yards for pine trees); size 7 circular needles (26" recommended); optional: size 6 circular needles (26" recommended).
(two session class)
