Have
you been wanting to try lace knitting, but don't want to plunge right
into a complicated lace shawl? This simple shawl is the perfect project.
In this class we'll use Judy Marples classic Leaf Press Shawl to learn a
simple lace pattern, how to knit with two colors and how to read
charts. The unique construction of this scarf holds interest for the
more advanced knitter, too.
supplies needed:
basic knitting skills, fingering weight yarn--approximately 300 yards
of main color & 200 yards of contrast color, size US 5 large
circular needles, pattern (available via Ravelry).
