Lace
knitting. It's not easy, but not nearly as hard as you can imagine.
Spend your long summer evenings knitting up this luxurious lace shawl
and learn a ton of new skills all at once. Indulge in 535 yards of
fingering weight yarn (the lighter the better) and size 4 circular
needles. (I suggest at least 24" cable.) Print out pattern from Ravelry
before the first class. You may also want to bring some markers and
either Post-It notes or a magnetized board for chart keeping. This
project is a show-stopper!
